This was a hallmark event that presented Al-Madinah Community Center officially to the Muslim Community in Toledo. With huge attendance and community support the officials of Al-Madinah shared with the community the center’s vision, mission and future plans. They emphasized that this is a community based project that aims to empower our Muslim families with particular attention to our young adults and women. Our young adults did a magnificent job in planning, organizing and executing this huge event. Their performance was commanded by the crowd and they are going to be the backbone of this young organization. Attendees also enjoyed a wonderful performance of spoken poetry by poet Ammar Al-Shukry.
